Poster submission

This year there is an oral session where you will present your poster in one minute, using two transparencies. The first will contain the title of the work and the author’s names and affiliations. The second should include a clear and concise scheme that allows you to explain in a minute the goal of the work presented in the poster and the results achieved. This session will be held on Thursday, October 20, from 11:50h to 13: 00h. To speed the sequence of presentations, the slides of all presentations will be available at the desktop of the session’s room computer. For this reason it is essential that you send to <a href="mailto:angela@cs.upc.edu" target="_blank">angela@cs.upc.edu</a> and <a href="mailto:javier.vazquez@upf.edu?subject=Slides poster">javier.vazquez@upf.edu</a> the slides of your presentation before October 17. 

 The poster session will be held the same day, October 20, from 15:50h to 16: 50h. You have to hang the poster on the morning of the 20th and remove it at the end of the day. The poster size should be A0 size (1189 x 841 mm) approx., and it must be hung vertically. A member of the Local Committee will provide material and help you with any problem that may arise. 

 The poster area will be in the same area of coffees, and posters may be discussed at all the breaks and coffee breaks throughout the day.

 A poster combines text and graphics to make a visually pleasing presentation. The goal is to quickly and efficiently communicate your research project to viewers that will be walking by.
